I NEED FRAGRANT FLOWERS TO COVER THE SMELL OF DOG URINE. HELP?

jamie w asked:

I HAVE 2 DOGS, SO MY BACK YARD TENDS TO SMELL LIKE URINE WHEN IT GETS WARM OUT. I HAVE NEIGHBORS ON BOTH SIDES OF ME THAT LIKE TO BBQ IN THE SUMMER. I WANT THEM TO ENJOY BEING OUTSIDE AND NOT SMELL URINE ALL NIGHT. I WANT TO TRY TO PUT OUT SOME REALLY FRAGRANT FLOWERS TO HELP WITH THE BAD SMELL….PARTS OF MY YARD GET PARTIAL SHADE BUT THERE IS A LOT OF SUN THROUGHOUT THE DAY.

Naked ladies smell awesome. I have a bunch in my back year and I love them. Roses (maybe climbing roses for the fence?) can be nice and are pretty hardy (as in might survive dog urine and neighbors cutting them back) Star Jasmie has a subtle smell as well.

Maybe watering down the areas maybe Friday evenings, since BBQs are more frequent on the weekends. It might help with the smell.

Lime is suppose to due away with the smell, spread and hose down gently. Wear gloves.

Night Phlox! They grow from seed quickly, the seeds are cheap, and they smell A LOTTA good! Plus they do their best fragrance during the early evening and night, when your neighbors will be outside!

I have them and I put them in pots by the front door, and they are awesome!
